End of an Era! With the sale of Wilpena Pound Resort to the Anthology group, many will miss the association Wilpena has long had with Keith and Lynette Rasheed.
Up until recently Lynette served on the FROSAT board, a post she has held for about 25 years, providing invaluable advice to the board, it’s staff and operators in the Flinders ranges. International marketing her speciality, she was always ready to go in to bat for the Flinders Ranges, and always generous with her advice.
Many will say that it won’t be the same, influential personalities have that effect! They won’t be far away though, kicking back at Arkaba Station, just down the road, we wish them both well.

Keith, Lynette, you will be missed! I still look forward to catching up with you for those wines…I haven’t fogotten. Thanks for all your support, advice Lynette to the Board over the past years. We’ll miss you at the consumer shows…. Sue
Hi I am Lynette and Keith Rasheeds grandaughter,
i am going to miss Wilpena so much i loved being able to run around and know that it was owned by the best grandparents in the world…so i am very sad that it has been sold, but i know that Nana and Grandpa have been extremely stressed over the past few years and it is definately time for them to move on from Wilpena Pound. I am going to miss it so much, even though they are only moving down the road to a family station ‘Arkaba’. So even though I will probably visit Wilpena a lot I am going to miss it dearly, it is like a second home to me. So I wish my grandparents the best of luck for the future and I hope I am not the only one.
Don’t worry Amelia, you’re NOT the only one. I’m sure there’s heaps that wish them well. Some people and places just go together and it’s hard to get your head around the changes, hey!
