Despite the drought many plants and animals are doing well at Bendleby, thanks to the land management practices of the Luckrafts. Petroica goodenovii This is a female, camouflaged well for her environment. Last week Channel Nines “Postcards” was filming in the Orroroo area. In this shot, producer, Ron Kandelaars interviews Warren and Jane Luckraft of Bendleby Ranges (Orroroo’s 4WD/mountain-bike playground 50km to the north of Orroroo). This ridgetop rendezous is a favourite spot of the Luckrafts and their visitors to watch the sun set.
