Mountaintop Rockpool

After about a 45 minute climb we made it to the top. I didn’t think it would be such a climb so didn’t bother bringing water. However we were pleasantly surprised to find a rock pool left by recent rains, full of fresh, clear water. Wilpena Creek

The next morning after brekkie, we went for a walk, saw a wedgie (wedge-tailed eagle) climbed a bit of breakaway country and had a look around. That’s Wilpena Creek in the background.
