River Frome, Angepena

After the flinty, hard and forbidding country up around Illinawortina, this spot on the River Frome was just paradise. The Frome eventually finds its way north where it finally spills into Lake Eyre South nearly 400km to the north. What a sight it must be when this creek runs, here it is only 50 odd metres wide, a narrow point near Mudlapena Gap.
